What Is This Programme?

The Socratic Home Partner Programme trains parents and caregivers to become intentional learning partners for their children at home — using Socratic questioning, conversation, and curiosity as the primary tools.

Who Is It For?

Every parent, regardless of their own education level. You do not need to know the school curriculum. You need to know how to be curious with your child — and we will teach you that.

What Is Socratic Questioning?

Asking questions that lead your child to discover answers themselves, rather than giving them the answer. Research shows children retain 90% more from discoveries they make than from information they are told.

The Research

Parental engagement in learning is one of the strongest predictors of educational success — with an effect size of d=0.58 (Hattie). But quality of engagement matters more than quantity. Asking good questions daily is more powerful than hours of passive supervision.
