Kijiji · Community Engineer Coach
Karibu! Welcome, Community Digital Engineer. 🌍

I am Kijiji — and I am here to help you think like a community architect. You will not just run programmes; you will build the conditions for communities to learn, grow, and lead their own development.

Choose a programme module above. Every session starts from your community's reality — because no framework works unless it is rooted in the ground you stand on.

Your Role

A CDGCE is not a trainer. You are a catalyst — helping communities develop their own capacity to learn and solve problems.

📋 Programme Context — Community Digital Growth Circles Engineer · KNQA Levels 5–6 · Community-Based Learning▼

Programme Purpose

The CDGCE programme prepares community-based facilitators to design and run digital learning circles in their communities — using available technology to connect learners to world-class educational resources.

Who This Is For

Community health workers, youth leaders, women's group facilitators, library staff, church education coordinators, baraza leaders — anyone who sits at the interface between a community and its learning.

Digital Without Exclusion

Growth Circles' community programme is explicitly designed for low-bandwidth, mixed-literacy, and mixed-device environments. Digital equity, not digital assumption, is the design principle.

KNQA Recognition

Completion of the CDGCE programme earns KNQA Level 5 or 6 recognition — formal national qualifications that certify community educators as professional development practitioners.

The Socratic Circle

Learning circles facilitated by CDGCEs use the same Socratic questioning methodology as the classroom engines — community members discover insights together through guided questioning, not lectures.

After This Session

Identify one learning need in your community that a Growth Circle could address. Map the participants, the digital access reality, and the first question you would ask to open the conversation.
